Additionally, Recreational Therapist are required to attend all Quarterly Meetings, where the
Individualized Support Team (IST) will meet together to evaluate the individuals progress and services. It is
good practice to front load with the individual supported during the Recreational Therapy session prior to the
Quarterly Meeting. The Recreational Therapy session following the Quarterly Meeting should include
debriefing from the Quarterly Meeting.
In these meetings the team will discuss any medical appointments, medication changes, changes in supports,
progression or regression in goals, any budget changes and any other pertinent information for the team to discuss.
