Behavior Support Training is something that is required of all staff if an individual receives support from a Behavioral Consultant through the Waiver. A Behavioral Support Training consists of meeting with the Behavior Consultant and going through the individual’s specialized behavior plan created by the Behavior Consultant. Once you have gone through this plan, the Behavior Consultant should have a competency quiz to go test your knowledge on the plan. The Behavior Consultant will then upload it to the Bureau of Disabilities Services (BDS) online portal.
If a Behavior Consultant does not have a competency quiz prepared for you at the end of the training, you may use the Behavior Support Training Form provided to complete the competency exam and upload to the Bureau of Disabilities Services (BDS) online portal independently.
