The purpose of the project during your internship is to identify and develop either a system, problem, or program that needs to be addressed to help better understand and improve the overall functioning of a company. When identifying your project, think of ideas that will benefit Assisted Independence, but also think about what areas you want to improve.
Possible internship projects could include, but are not limited to:
- Help Recreational Therapist with family advocacy group.
- Help plan a group camping trip.
- Help with cost analysis and budgeting for the company.
- Help create Human Rights Committee within company.
- Help create a Family and Caregiver Training (FCAR) event.
- Help aggregate Personal Outcome Measures into Provide.
- Help complete administrative tasks.
- Help create a company newsletter.
- Help create a company event fun guide.
- Help plan a fundraising event to go towards adaptive equipment.
